Indie game studio
It has been a while since the team discussed starting a development blog. So I figured I would break the chain of neglectful antics. I'm Dan Supinski, the project manager and lead designer around here. My background consists of video games(tons!), Gamasutra articles, design books, Gamedev.net articles, and a Bachelors of Science in psychology. I grew up as a nerd and plan to die that way.
At this point in time the more specific technical details have not been confirmed. For now it should suffice to know that the aim is to create a 2D RTS. No, no pixel art here. The game is being built on a 3D engine to make use of particles, shadows, expanded terrain, and enhanced details. However, as mentioned above, the game will appear 2D in many respects.
The story of Magical Mayhem places an exiled wizard in the midst of these crazy worlds. Desiring to be elsewhere our hero takes out his frustrations on the different wizards that he encounters.
