Keeping Things Rolling

As many of you may, or may not, have noticed things have grown stale around the website recently. I started a new job out here in Portland and am currently getting my feet wet. I just wanted to shout out to everyone that things are only on hold until January. Once the holidays roll by things will pick up again. That is a promise!

Have a great semester and holiday season my friends!!

Portland - Recruiting

I hope everyone is well. It might be apparent but things have been a bit rocky for us around here. To kick start our project we're getting together some volunteers that are going to help Rob and I recruit the necessary team. As you all know, finding the right person that is interested in our goal isn't the easiest task. So, we hope that you will all bear with us as we build up the team.

Bumpy Ride

I know it has been about two weeks since my last post. Let me fill you all in on the things that have been happening. I moved to Portland, OR and then helped my sister move into her dorm room over at the University of Portland.

Gearing Up

Sorry I missed my usual Friday post! I was busy moving from Fort Collins to Denver. On top of that I've been busy consolidating my stuff for my move to Portland, OR. So, I apologize for my short absence. I want to assure you all that things are still moving along smoothly here.

A great deal of information is going to be posted for the team this Sunday. We're getting a new Ventrilo server to have meetings on for next week. The design will be completed, the objectives calender will be done, and recruiting will begin. I'm going to have to keep this post a bit shorter than usual.

Designing - Ups & Downs

I finished the design document - revision 2 this morning at 5am. I had spent the last 96 hour or so staring at revision 1 and was trying to figure out what and why I made some decisions. The magic system and spell variables had been thrown together in the most sloppy manner. I had to go through, gut out systems and re-define interactions. I had been so focused on another company venture when I first wrote the design that I really didn't put my heart and soul into it like I usual do.
